Lineup

TV host, podcaster, and damn good comedian, Harley Breen’s presence guarantees a good time for all around. He’s got a voice like a chainsaw, which pairs perfectly with his lumberjack moustache – appropriate, as his comedy is strong enough to chop down trees.

Harley Breen

Comedy Royalty, one of the most in demand comedians in the country. A late starter, but with an award-winning career of almost 20 years; Fiona plays to packed houses in venues and festivals across the globe. Winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s (MICF) ‘Best Newcomer’ award in 2001 and ‘Piece of Wood’ award in 2006. She’s also the Queen of the Jungle, having won Network Ten’s “I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here!”.

Fiona O’Loughlin

Bursting onto the scene in 2017, he was nominated for the prestigious ‘Best Newcomer’ award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and has since gone on to perform comedy all over the world. Sam juggles stand up and various media projects, including his role as a roving idiot for Channel 10’s ‘The Project’. He’s now the third ever host of Grapes of Mirth!

Sam Taunton

A slightly deranged girl, known for her dark and twisted everyday observations and stories, and returning to her hometown of Townsville! Winner of the ‘Best Newcomer’ award at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Danielle also appeared as ‘Ranger Danny’ alongside stars Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney on the show everyone fell in love with – “GetKrack!n” for ABC TV.

Danielle Walker

As ‘Chopper’, Heath Franklin is an Australian cultural and comedy icon. With his own TV show, four live comedy specials, 2 ARIA nominations, 1 Logie nomination and over 500,000 tickets sold worldwide, Chopper has nearly done it all. The man behind the tatts and ‘stache, Heath Franklin, is an Australian actor, comedic performer, improviser and writer.

The “Merric” from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. You might have seen him recently getting smashed in the face on SAS Australia, Australia’s REAL reality show. Mez loves wine, so much so that he’s a qualified sommelier, with dreams of retiring to a big Chesterfield, smoking a cigar and drinking Cabernet.

Experiences

Orange Wine Region

Orange, in country NSW, produces some of Australia’s best cool climate wines. The region is also home to Nashdale Lane Wines’ stunning vineyard and cellar door and the guys there thought hosting a bunch of idiots (aka us!) for an afternoon of laughs, great wine and food was an awesome idea (we concur).

Iconic Views

At Nashdale Lane you’ll pull up a seat at a majestic vineyard – in the middle of the vines with spectacular views over iconic Mount Canobolas and neighbouring orchards and cattle farms.

Laugh your arse off

Some of the biggest names in Aussie stand-up comedy (and no doubt a few colourful local characters too!) come together in this unique wine country location just over three-hours drive from Sydney. Along with lots of belly laughs, this event is about kicking back and enjoying fine wines, quality food and great company.

Glamping under the stars

Nashdale Lane is a place to disconnect, to relax and immerse in the endless natural beauty of the great outdoors. It is a place be dazzled as the night sky reveals itself or simply to watch and listen as the world passes you by!

Our Partner

Private: Nashdale Lane Wines

Nashdale Lane Wines is a proudly all Australian family owned and run business. The vision for the brand began in 2001 and after a lot of research, hard work and planning (along with luck in finding the most idyllic vineyard  site in Orange, NSW) it was realised.
