Lineup

Celia Pacquola is a chameleon – a stand up comedian, writer and actor who springs effortlessly between stage and screen and has become one of our best-loved and most in-demand performers in any genre. Pretty much a Tassie local after creating and starring in five incredible seasons of ‘Rosehaven’, we couldn’t be happier to be bringing her to Josef Chromy.

Peter Helliar has been one of Australia’s favourite comedians since his first appearance on our TV screens on Rove back in 1999. Pete has performed stand up for more than twenty years, selling out shows right across the country, where he makes the difficult business of being funny look dead easy.

Zoë won Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2016 and was nominated for best show at the Edinburgh Fringe in the same year. Since then, she has recorded a stand up special for Amazon, been a regular contributor on The Weekly and continued to make incredible, whip-smart, meta comedy shows. In the words of the Herald Sun “Zoë Coombs Marr is a genius”

Alex is a regular on ‘Have You Been Paying Attention?’, a writer for ‘The Project’ and one of Australia’s most exciting comedy talents. Pedestrian.tv described her as “Irreverent without being too dry and extremely engaging. Totally brilliant” and we couldn’t agree more. Alex made her blistering Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Gala debut in 2021 and is now making her Grapes of Mirth debut as well, it’s a big year!

Alex Ward

Bursting onto the scene in 2017, he was nominated for the prestigious ‘Best Newcomer’ award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and has since gone on to perform comedy all over the world. Sam juggles stand up and various media projects, including his role as a roving idiot for Channel 10’s ‘The Project’. He’s now the third ever host of Grapes of Mirth!

If Grapes of Mirth falls in a Vineyard and DJ Pedro Moshman isn’t there to pick us up and get us dancing, did GoM really ever happen? No, it did not. No Pedro, No Party.
