Goes Troppo, Townsville

Grapes of Mirth is heading to Queensland for the first time ever, bringing with them six of Australia’s best comedians.

Picture this, it’s mid-July, it’s cold, miserable outside. Now, picture this. Sunshine, palm trees, lush green lawns, chilled wines, some tunes, and 6 comedians that are all “Going Troppo”!

We’ve teamed up with our good friends at Brown Brothers Family Winemakers and we’re headed north for a weekend of warmth and good times.

The “Merric” from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. You might have seen him recently getting smashed in the face on SAS Australia, Australia’s REAL reality show. Mez loves wine, so much so that he’s a qualified sommelier, with dreams of retiring to a big Chesterfield, smoking a cigar and drinking Cabernet.
