Scotty is quite possibly the funniest person in Australia, whether she’s touring the country with best pal Judith Lucy, joining the team on Have You Been Paying Attention?, or on stage at a winery, you are guaranteed a good time.

Denise Scott

Winner of Best Show at the 2022 Melbourne Comedy Festival, Rhys is razor sharp, daring and downright lascivious. Most recently on our screens as a judge on RuPaul Downunder, Rhys is an absolute superstar of the comedy circuit.

Rhys Nicholson

Adopted Kiwi, Cal Wilson, crossed the Tasman in 2003 and has gone on to become one of our most popular comedians, a perennial favourite on many television shows. In 2018, Cal was invited by Netflix to the Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal to record a Netflix Original Comedy Special. 2019 also saw Cal become a very serious children’s author, penning two books.

Cal Wilson

SAFM breakfast host and all round top bloke Lehmo is one of Australia’s most experienced and well-travelled comedians. Lehmo’s live work has seen him headline at comedy clubs for well over fifteen years and work all corners of the globe – he is also the country’s number one ‘combat comic’, having completed seven ‘tours of duty’.

Leaving behind his career as a Brew Master and Food Technologist in his home country of Venezuela, Ivan has been performing comedy in his second language now for 8 years. Ivan is now a regular on Aussie TV and has won an entire swag of awards including; Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Weekly Best Comedy at the Adelaide and Perth Fringe.

Ivan Aristeguieta

The “Merric” from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. You might have seen him recently getting smashed in the face on SAS Australia, Australia’s REAL reality show. Mez loves wine, so much so that he’s a qualified sommelier, with dreams of retiring to a big Chesterfield, smoking a cigar and drinking Cabernet.

Brown Brothers in Milawa

Welcome to Brown Brothers, one of Australia’s leading family-owned wineries. They have been making wine in Milawa for 130 years, and while they’re proud of their traditions, they’re not a traditional wine company; otherwise, we (the comedians) would never have received an invitation! They love a laugh – so, pull up a chair, bean bag or picnic rug and join us in their beautiful grounds to enjoy some of Australia’s biggest comedy names for an afternoon of music, food, wine and laughter.

DJ Pedro Moshman

Known as the 6th member of the Golden Girls, Pedro will have you dancing your feet off as Grapes of Mirth’s resident DJ, spinning classics all afternoon. And FYI his hair is real, but please do not touch it.

Graze & Sip (if you can stop laughing)

Enjoy some delicious locally sourced produce throughout the event with a glass or three of Brown Brothers’ iconic wines. Plenty of food will be on offer for the day and into the evening. Create your own gourmet picnic or enjoy some of the other hot and cold options that will be available on the day – gourmet grazing at its best! The bar will be fully stocked with your favourite Brown Brothers wines as well as local beers, cider, soft drinks and coffee.

The Ultimate Door Prizes

Just like last year, we’ll be giving away a few prizes on the day. One lucky couple will get the opportunity to come back to Brown Brothers for a half-day experience and discover 130 years of family winemaking history. Enjoy a tour of the winery, visit their historic buildings, explore the extensive range of wines in a guided tasting session, followed by a gourmet three-course wine and food matched lunch in the acclaimed Patricia’s Table Restaurant. The perfect way to spend your day in the King Valley.
