INTRODUCING THE BAROSSA VALLEY PLAYERS

The "Weapon" of Australian comedy

This smooth looking unit with the Euro schnoz is a comedy festival gun. Co-Host of The Project (No, not Waleed, the other guy - who looks like his mum put the gel in his hair) Tommy is also Carrie Bickmore's radio Co-Host on their afternoon nationally syndicated program.

Star of the future

One to watch. A brilliant stand up comedian, she is well on her way to becoming a house hold name. Get on board this one early, and when we say " get on board" do not in any way try to touch her.

Unpredictable, dangerous and totally loveable

We loved watching him on ‘I’m a celeb’. Turns out he’s still being watched (you’ll find him on several watchlists). He’s pretty innocent, most of the time.

One the best red headed comics Tasmania has ever produced

One of Australia's best up and coming Red Heads, Luke has enjoyed amazing success with his ABC television show "Rosehaven" and his work on ABC's "Utopia" and as a regular on television panel shows.

Award winning stand up

Is an award winning stand up and host of his own television show "Tonightly" on the ABC and was heard nationally as Breakfast host on triple j. Tom is a bit of smart arse and so fits in nicely with the rest of Grapes of Mirth.

No award winning stand up

Whatever. Seriously. This bloke has been trying to take Jay Wetherill's job for so long it's already gone to someone else! He does genuinely love S.A though and is seeking medical advice to this point.

One of the most in demand comedians in this country

A late starter; but with an award winning career of almost 15 years, Fiona plays to packed houses in venues and festivals across the globe. Winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s (MICF) Best Newcomer Award in 2001

Stop saying YOLO you sound like a dickhead.

Old Meets New

One of Australia’s oldest and most awarded wineries will play host to a bunch of idiots (us not you!). Merrick will be hosting some of his comedy mates in the beautiful surrounds that Seppeltsfield is famous for.

We've Got You Covered

Rain, hail, or shine, this show will go on, as it will take place in a HUUUUUGE (at least twice as big as Donald Trump's hands) barrel room that will accommodate everyone seated comfortably. If the sun is out, there will be plenty of breaks to enjoy the outdoors with food and beverage in hand.

Taste Your Birth Year!

If you're a Friend of Mirth, and you join us on September 1st, you'll be in the running on the day to be escorted down to the 1878 Centennial Cellar, where you will taste your year of birth Tawny, direct from barrel, as well as the legendary 100-year-old Para Vintage Tawny.

Segway Through the Vines

If you want to get your high-vis on cruising around on two wheels playing follow the leader, then this prize is for you. Throughout the day we'll be sending some lucky Friends of Mirth on a tour of Seppeltsfield's beautiful property on Segways.

This is a ride you'll want to be on, the guys from Segway Sensation SA are awesome!
