One of the brightest stars in Australian Comedy, so hot right now! WINNER of the Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer - 2018, star of 'Utopia', a regular on 'Have You Been Paying Attention', and Logie nominated for her role in 'Rosehaven' alongside Luke McGregor. Celia is back for her second GoM appearance, and that makes us very very happy!

He has been on our hit list for over a year. We are massive fans of his work and have finally managed to get the stars to align. Harley is the host of the smash hit and Logie nominated 'Taboo'. He's bloody hilarious, however, he and his moustache need to get into a time machine and travel back to the turn of the last century where they have a job waiting as a lumberjack! Appropriate, as his comedy is strong enough to chop down trees.

We welcome back to Grapes of Mirth our dear friend Mel Buttle. Mel loves South Australia and is not terrified when confronted with a glass of wine either, so it makes perfect sense that she is joining us in the Barossa. Mel hosts 'The Great Australian Bake Off' on the LifeStyle channel with local legend Maggie Beer; we suspect that may be the only reason she agreed to join us - whatever, Mel is brilliant and we’re rapt she’s on board.

Logie winning actor ('Utopia') and comedian Dilruk Jayasinha is making his very first trip to the Barossa. We enticed the newly slender Dilruk with pictures of Barossa food, and before you could say “how many calories are in that?” Dil had booked his airfare. Dilruk has had a massive year with his stand up show “Cheat Day” and has a huge back of tricks he’ll draw on for Seppeltsfield. One of our favourites and soon to be one of yours!

DJ Pedro Moshman is no ordinary DJ, there's a reason why we take him around the country to all our Grapes of Mirth events. His 'DJ Super Powers' allow him to know what song to play, when to play it, and whom to play it for! The end result? Entertainment between comedy acts, and a dance party to finish off the day.

Merrick is a Grapes of Mirth addict, and the Barossa Valley Wine region is one of his favourites. In fact any wine region. In fact, any wine. In short, he has a problem.

Supersized Seppeltsfield Cellar 9

Rain, hail, or shine, this show will go on, as it will take place in Seppeltfield's 'Cellar 9', which is a HUUUUUGE (at least twice as big as Donald Trump's hands) winery working shed that will accommodate everyone seated comfortably. If the sun is out, there will be plenty of breaks to enjoy the outdoors with food and beverage in hand.

We've got prizes to win!

As has become tradition, there will be no shortage of prize giveaways on the day, including a 'Taste Your Birth Year Tawney' experience, and a Segway Sensations tour for 4 people at any on of their three locations, plus lots more!

Food & Wine on offer

We've got some amazing local producers joining us, Award Winning Owen Andrews Catering will be there on the day to surprise and delight you with the best of the Barossa! More to be announced. We have put on the best of Seppeltsfield Wines for you thirsty folk:

2019 Seppeltsfield Barossa Grenache
2018 Seppeltsfield Barossa, Eden Valley Riesling
2019 Seppeltsfield Barossa Mataro
2019 Seppeltsfield Barossa Nero D’Avola
2017 Seppeltsfield Barossa Shiraz
2019 Seppeltsfield Barossa Moscato
DJ Pedro Moshman bringing the tunes

This year our incredible music master DJ Pedro Moshman will be accompanied by two live musicians; Virgil Reality (yes, that’s his real name) on trumpet / flute and The Maverick Experience (no, that is not his real name) on percussion - they’ll keep the festival vibe going between sets and after the show.
