Pete Rowsthorn is one of Australia's most loved comedians. With three decades of stand-up under his belt, Pete is about to unleash his high energy and fast-paced comedy on the King Valley.
One of the brightest stars in Australian Comedy right now is coming to King Valley for her very first Grapes of Mirth appearance. CAN NOT WAIT!
Danielle recently appeared as ‘Ranger Danny’ alongside stars Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney on the show everyone is talking about – Get Krack!n for ABC TV.
Luke is back! Absolutely destroyed it at our recent Barossa Valley event and now he plans on doing the same in the King Valley. Prepare for raptures!
A late starter; but with an award winning career of almost 15 years, Fiona plays to packed houses in venues and festivals across the globe. Winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s (MICF) Best Newcomer Award in 2001.
Best known as one half of the successful duo Hamish and Andy. Merrick is a Grapes of Mirth addict and a lover of the Orange wine region. In fact any wine region. In fact, any wine. In short, he has a problem.
Welcome to Brown Brothers, one of Australia’s leading family-owned wineries. They have been making wine in Milawa for 130 years, and while they’re proud of their traditions, they’re not a traditional wine company; otherwise we (the comedians) would never have received an invitation! They love a laugh - so, pull up a chair, bean bag or picnic rug and join us in their beautiful grounds to enjoy some of Australia’s biggest comedy names for an afternoon of music, food, wine and laughter.
Enjoy some delicious locally sourced produce throughout the event with a glass or three of Brown Brothers’ iconic wines. Plenty of food will be on offer for the day and into the evening. Visit ‘Produce Corner’ to create your own gourmet picnic, and the ‘Barn Kitchen’ will be offering both hot and cold options to share or keep all to yourself - gourmet grazing at its best! The bar will be fully stocked with your favourite Brown Brothers wines as well as local beers, cider, soft drinks and coffee.
Before the festival kicks off, you can settle in for lunch at their highly acclaimed Patricia’s Table Restaurant, with four courses all matched with wine for $110 per person. 12pm with Sparkling on arrival for a 12.30pm sit down. Please note that the lunch price excludes the comedy, so you’ll still need to purchase a ticket for the event, BUT, you can keep your table in the restaurant for the entire day!
One lucky couple on the day will get the opportunity to come back to Brown Brothers for a half day experience and discover 130 years of family winemaking history. Enjoy a tour of the winery, visit their historic buildings, explore the extensive range of wines in a guided tasting session, followed by a gourmet three course wine and food matched lunch in the acclaimed Patricia’s Table Restaurant. The perfect way to spend your day in the King Valley.
