Lineup

Celia Pacquola is a chameleon – a stand up comedian, writer and actor who springs effortlessly between stage and screen and has become one of our best-loved and most in-demand performers in any genre. Pretty much a Tassie local after creating and starring in five incredible seasons of ‘Rosehaven’, we couldn’t be happier to be bringing her to Josef Chromy.

Dil is one of the most in demand headliners on the Australian comedy scene, with a reputation for consistently nailing his shows with his positive, upbeat brand of stand-up. Dil has recorded two stand-up specials, one for the ABC and the second for Amazon Prime which was released globally in 2020. He has also featured in Amazon’s smash hit program ‘LOL: Last One Laughing Australia’ alongside Rebel Wilson, and the 2021 series of ‘Celebrity Masterchef’.

Whenever we can get Mel out of Brisbane and into wine country we do! She’s the absolute best, whether you know her from Bake Off, The Project, or as her internet persona “mum”, Mel’s at her absolute best on the Grapes of Mirth stage about three glasses of wine down (in our humble opinion).

Mel Buttle

Luke is the comedian all other comedians love, he gigs relentlessly 6 or 7 nights a week and tours the biggest comedy festivals in Australia and New Zealand to sell-out crowds and rave reviews.

Luke Heggie

TV host, podcaster, and damn good comedian, Harley Breen’s presence guarantees a good time for all around. He’s got a voice like a chainsaw, which pairs perfectly with his lumberjack moustache – appropriate, as his comedy is strong enough to chop down trees.

The “Merric” from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. You might have seen him recently getting smashed in the face on SAS Australia, Australia’s REAL reality show. Mez loves wine, so much so that he’s a qualified sommelier, with dreams of retiring to a big Chesterfield, smoking a cigar and drinking Cabernet.

Experiences

Supersized Seppeltsfield Cellar No.9

Rain, hail, or shine, this show will go on, as it will take place in Seppeltfield’s ‘Cellar 9’, which is a HUUUUUGE (at least twice as big as Donald Trump’s hands) winery working shed that will accommodate everyone seated comfortably. If the sun is out, there will be plenty of breaks to enjoy the outdoors with food and beverage in hand.

We’ve got prizes to win!

As has become tradition, there will be no shortage of prize giveaways on the day, including a ‘Taste Your Birth Year Tawny’ experience for 4, a Segway Sensations tour for 4 people, and lunch or dinner for 4 at the amazing and award-winning FINO Seppeltsfield!

Food & Wine on offer

We’ve got the amazing and award-winning Owen Andrews Catering bringing us the best of local Barossa fare! Plus the lads from Forage Supply Co, with their vegetarian deliciousness. And to quench your thirst, only the best Seppeltsfield Wines.

Music

This year our incredible music master DJ Pedro Moshman will be accompanied by two live musicians; Virgil Reality (yes, that’s his real name) on trumpet / flute and The Maverick Experience (no, that is not his real name) on percussion – they’ll keep the festival vibe going between sets and after the show.
